I don't know if you have heard yet but Chris proposed to me on Friday at sunset at the beach. Of course I said yes! I am so happy!!! Here's a picture of the ring, it's not so clear but it's better than nothing.

Congrats to Korea. I watched the last 20 minutes, after listening on the radio that Italy had the game under control with just minutes to go, uncharacteristically an Italian defender made a mistake and Korea equalized. The Italians then went completely to pieces. We watched Italy play Mexico in a bar in Sorento,when Italy scored with 4 minutes to go,the whole of Sorento went mad. Scooters and cars going up and down the streets waving large Italian flags. I'm glad we left on Friday. Sounds a great idea 2006 especially if England, USA or Korea went there as "defending champions" Are the Shortinos football supporters???

Hi,
Tom & Rita here. We are back from Italy and what a wonderful time we had.
Florence was fantastic, Rome romantic and Sorrento was sensational. We saw
the Pope at his Audience, went to the very top of St. Peters and saw Rome
spread out before us, admired the Sistine Chapel - just breathtaking. We
saw Pompeii, Herculanium, the Amalfi coast (almost as beautiful as the 17
mile drive), the Tivoli gardens and lots more. Our hotel in Sorrento was
exquisite and the service impeccable - I felt like a queen. We were very
lazy and sent only one card and that was to Penny and Tito. We posted it in
the Vatican so that it would have a Vatican postmark. Hope they received
it.
We're back home and back to earth with a bump huh! Keely and John flew off
to Majorca on Saturday - just for a week. We will be meeting John's folks
in August and attending John's sister's wedding. Should be good fun.
Well that's the US and England out of the World Cup. By the time this goes
to press we'll have a winner. England became quite patriotic whilst we were
still in the running. Oh well perhaps Henman can save the day at Wimbledon.
We'll also know the winners of Wimbledon by press release.
Your new home sounds fantastic Marco and Teri. Can't wait to see it. You
must both have new jobs too. Life sure does move on a pace with you guys.
Our friends leave for California on Saturday (29th June). We hope they can
meet up at some point with Penny and Tito. We know they'll have a great
time.
Oh well mundane things call - like dishwashing, clothes washing etc.. etc..
At least I can dream of lying by the pool with a cold drink in my hand and
the sun playing all over.... Hey that's private.

Antes de ir a Stgo a chequearme la salud (parece que tengo circo para varios anos q. tal ?) tambien me cambie al sistema de alta velocidad. Es realmente bueno . Recien lo estoy comprobando.
