All,
Keely got engaged over the week to John. He came and asked for her hand.
They are looking at a wedding next September or October. Depends when
venues
for a Saturday wedding are available. Naturally we are delighted. Hope
you
can all make it. Let you know more later.
Love Tommy.
Robin and Sophie Oliver
I'm expecting that Lisa and Jess will be arriving in a couple
of weeks or so. Yeah, I'm very excited about them coming. 2 1/2 years
is a long time when you're not a priest, not to mention anything else!!
OK to answer your question about our family connection. Your great grandparents
on my side were Mabel Wenman and Sidney Oliver. They had four kids.
Gladys, Irene, Alfred and Hilda Oliver. Gladys never married. Irene
died in her early 20s. Alfred married Freda Boynett and had one son-me-Robin
John Oliver. Hilda Oliver married Thomas Melson and had 3 kids, Penelope
(your Mum),Thomas and Julia. The rest you know. I think we are officially
second cousins.

Brain Teaser: Who in the family can figure this out first!
The problem: You are standing at the top of a staircase in front
of THREE light switches. You have one light bulb downstairs in a room
that you can't see from where you are standing. You need to figure out
which of the three switches turns that light bulb on and off. You will
only be allowed to go down and check once. So you had better get it the
first time.
Hint: There is no trick... this can be done!
The room is somewhere that you could not see any reflections. You can
not walk back and forth. You can only go downstairs once to see if your
right. How do you figure which of the three switches is the right one?
