Hi All,
Here is my first article to put in your newsletter. Craig and I are
still pretty busy with school and work. He has just finished his winter
term and now is working on his thesis for his Masters Degree. I on the
other hand am trying to get my science classes done and then I can apply
to the Dental Hygiene program. I have been working for a Children's
Dentist for over 7 months now and just absolutely love it. I had some
time to go and visit my parents at their timeshare condo in Oceanside
We spent the day in San Diego the three of us. We ate and ate and ate
some more. It was a great time together. That is it for now. Hope every
one else is well. Wishing you all a Happy Easter Holiday.
Love Romy

Tassara -Ohio Trip Update
I spent a wonderful week in Ohio with the Shortino family. Weather was
wonderful 65% no rain. Vincent is now such a big boy and Angelina still
very much a little girl, her favorite color is pink or red and that's
all she will wear.
Phrine and I did a lot of exploring, We were determined to visit all
the Lakes within 1-2-hours of there house. Lake Mary was our first destination
about 45mins from Lima, Very nice, very interesting small town lots
of history. The lake very large not over populated nice homes all on
the lake with there own boat docks. Next we went to Lake Laramie again
approx. 45 mins from Lima, smaller lovely views from the cute houses
and a very nice old Victorian small town.
Saturday we drove about 1-11/2 hours to Indiana to a region with over
100 lakes gorgeous lovely country side lots of fields, forest. Streams,
the loveliest little towns. We checked out Sty. James Lake & Clear
lake the home sit on large lots by the water with the most incredible
views.
Had a really good time will be moving there in about 2 years on a lake.
See you there

Hi everybody, I would like to send my sympathy to the Shortino family
for the loss of their dog "Brandy". I certainly know how you
feel to lose such a major part of the family. I'm sending a picture
of my boy "Kobe" for you all to know and I wouldn't mind seeing
some of your pets also. Nice to hear from everybody and bye for this
months issue.

Medical Alert
The long term implications of drugs/procedures must be fully
considered:
Because over the past few years, more money has been spent on breast
implants
and Viagra than is spent on Alzheimer's Disease research, it is believed
that
by the year 2030 there will be a large number of people wandering around
with
huge breasts and erections who can't remember what to do with them.

BREAKING NEWS
Only
two weeks after moving in to Phrine's old house. Yesterday, a young
couple with a newborn renting the house from my parents were burglarized.
The thief's managed to slide in through the small doggie door and unlock
the sliding glass doors. They stole his camera equipment, Jewelry, and
other personal belongings. Although no other vandalizing was done to
the house the new tenants feel violated and I'm sure very uneasy right
now.
I will keep you updated on what happens next.

Hello Folks, Happy Easter - What's left of it. It's 7.45p.m on Easter
Monday here in the U.K and we have had pretty good
weather for the Bank Holiday - for a change.
Tom and I have spent the whole of Easter working in the garden - front
and
back. We are quite pleased with the results. It is shaping up nicely.
I
love this time of year because everything looks fresh and new.
Keely and John came over for lunch yesterday, Sunday, and spent a couple
of
hours with us. They seem very happy together.
It just makes a pleasant change having 4 days to do whatever we want to
at
home. We got up early this morning and traveled to Lakeside (Shopping
Mall). We went to have a look around Ikea. Do have have Ikea stores in
the
U.S? We wanted ideas for the interior of our wardrobe. The next big job
is
decorating our bedroom! Poor Tom - I'm a real slave driver.
Well I hope Tito and Penny are having a great time with Marco and Teri.
At
least we can imagine you all in Marco's little house and garden. I'm so
pleased you won't be coming over here whilst Tom and I are in Italy. If
you come later in the year it will be much better.
What do you think about the Queen Mum going to that "Race Course
in the
Sky"? I think she had a jolly good innings - 101 and a very privileged
and pampered life she led too. I feel sorry for the Queen though, losing
her sister and her mother within a few weeks of each other and in the
Golden Jubilee year too. That'll take the shine off of things a bit.
Well Marco don't put this in your E-zine will you, it's just a line to
wish you all a great Bank Holiday.
OOPS! Sorry. Too late :)

We had a wonderful trip this past weekend, Penny and I travel by car to
Scott's Valley and spent Easter weekend with Marco and Teri. The weather
was excellent, about 75 degrees through out the weekend, cant ask for
much more. But there is more, Marco and Teri were excellent hosts and
made us fill at home. "THANKS" to both of you, we had a GREAT
weekend!
Marco is now enrolled as a crew member in Santa Cruz Yacht Club, the "vessel"
is a "Catalina" 27 ft Sail boat. Congratulations. More to come.
Also Marco completed the repairs on the 18 foot "Das Boot" and
ready for action in May this year. A job well done.
Experience: Saturday we went to a Spanish restaurant in Santa Cruz, food
was good, but "empanadas" were fill with black beans and bananas!!!
Sorry, "but" that was a little to much for us. Also they had
what they call "Pisco Sour", which I was unable to drink. After
few a honest tries, I refilled the glass with water and send it back,
asking for a new drink.
Saturday, we wine tasting in a Santa Cruz winery called "Bonney Dune"
and dinner and at home.
Easter Sunday we had brunch at a restaurant in Santa Cruz and food was
good.
Penny had just returned from her trip to Ohio, visiting the grandchildren,
Phrine and Vinnie.
Again she had a great time and Phrine and Vinnie made her trip a complete
success.
The problem now is, Penny wants to by a house by a lake in Ohio.
