Update on Nelly Tassara
About Me - Tia Nelly: My 20 year career at Bank of America ended in 1999 when my department was moved to Seattle, Washington. It was then that I decided to retire and enjoy life like one should. At last, I could schedule my life to what I wanted to do...learn computers...take classes at Glendale College...then I got busy once my grandson came along. I am still seriously thinking about going back to school soon.

Vacations: Last year, we went on a beautiful trip to the Rocky Mountains in Canada for 10 days. We were accompanied by Robert, Dafne, and our friends from Chile, Romano and Teresina. We had such a good time that we plan to travel in the near future. Future destination is a visit with Aldo and Dino in Maui, then who knows?

About Tio Lucho: He is happy and still enjoys working. We will both be retired soon, living high on social security. Then we will travel...good ah!!!!!

Roberto Lobos Surgery Update
by Penny Tassara
I saw Roberto soon after his knee operation and he looked very well. The operation was expected to last 3 to 4 hours, but only took 2 hours. He will be going home either Friday or Saturday, then visitors are allowed to pay their respects to him. All donations will be gladly accepted.

Christian Lobos
This is my first article attempting to be a part of this newsletter and get my feet
Wet. Not a lot of excitment around these parts right now except for my dad
getting his reconstructed knee. I must say that I am very enthusiastic about
seeing my father be able to get around without pain. The recovery is the
toughest part and most important part, so any encouragment would be greatly
appreciated.
As for myself, I am just doing a complete make over of my guest bath and working on a guest bedroom for all of you to come over and use whenever in town. I would like to take this moment to also ask everybody to give a quick prayer or raindance for Southern California because we really need some rain and I would love to snowboard some of our local mountains before the season ends. Pray for
Winter. Until next time.

Thats it for now!
