Happy Holidays,
It has been a few months since our last newsletter but here it finally is. During the holiday season time always feels as if it is running faster than normal. So it is understandable when we don't always find the time to write in and keep in touch.
Teri and I have been busy going to company parties and then this Saturday to the Nutcracker in the downtown convention center. We have decided to make a tradition out of seeing a Christmas musical each year. This will be our first Christmas show and quite possibly our last if I can't keep from snoring while I sleep. I practice sleeping in my chair all day just to prepare.
Other than that things seem to be going well and work has kept both of us very busy. I am glad to see we are all enjoying this E-zine again and lets keep those articles coming in a little more consistent next year.
By the way, because it has been a while since our last Post I have put all the articles in chronological order. The oldest articles are first and as you read on they become more recent.
Lots of Love and remember its never too late to write in!
Marco

Dearest Auntie Rita
Hi Marco,
I've just looked at the Gallery and at Paola's wedding pictures. They are great. What a beautiful bride and the Flower Girl is a real poppet.
I must say Nona looks really well and nowhere near her age. Please pass on our love good wishes to her when you next see her.
Well, what a hectic year it has been for weddings. We've got the professional proofs of Keely and John's wedding. They are superb. I want every single one of them. The photographer promises to post some of them on his web-site soon so I'll let you know when that happens.
Well, it's Friday night - 9.30ish and Tom and I have been to have our usual Friday night dinner out. We have also been to the market. Now I am going to settle down with the daily newspaper and relaxxxxxxxxxx.
Give our love to everyone and I'll try to submit something for the newsletter soon.
Affectionately,
Your Dearest Auntie Rita -x-

Dearest Auntie Rita
Hi Marco,
Well I've progressed a little further with the new message board I've replied to a couple of topics and I was just chuffed that Mauricio bothered to reply to mine. I guess the title tempted him huh!
Hope you are still all safe.
Affectionately
Dearest Tia Rita -x- and a BIG SMILIE!!

Chris and Lisa Lobos
November rain has entered the mix in these parts. Thank mother nature for helping us put out these wild fires. I took a beautiful hike this morning in the Santa Monica Mountains and could still see some smoke in the air even after a pretty good rain.
We had a pretty fun Halloween party this year, inviting about 35 of our good friends and family. We showed off our new house and had a great time with some really good costumes to go along.
Not a whole lot more going on this month. I can hardly believe how close to the holidays were are already. Hope to see you all soon and have a great November.
Love,
Chris & Lisa Lobos (cool name huh!)

Keely and John
This is Keely and John- just to say "a Big Happy Birthday to you" and sorry for not emailing you sooner. Couldn't remember how old you were, is it 31? Sorry to remind you of the fact. Did I miss your big 30 last year? My next one is 29 next year so not long to go for me!!
I just read through your article, and it nearly made me cry - we loved having you here at our wedding, it was a very special day and we were so pleased you and Teri could make it and also your mom & dad, Phrine and Vincent. I'm so glad I met Vincent properly, he's a great little boy (thou not so little now!) You are always welcome here any time, you know that. And we may well be coming over to the States next year to visit again - you don't get away that easily!
John is glad to be part of our extended family! (I would add the details of my family tree, but we only fell out of it a couple of years ago, so will a picture do? - John)
Love you lots and miss you already
Love Keely and John XX

I was watching surf clips on a local website of local surfers. Sure enough as I watched the video for this past Sunday, guess who was riding a left at the very end of the clip? Yup, yours truly. Somehow this guy picked one of my waves to put in the video clip for the day. It actually was not one of my better waves, but I was surprised to see it anyway. Maybe next time he will catch me on a set wave. By the way, the blonde girl ripping is holly beck pro surfer. She rips out there. Seriously, one of best surfers out there on any day.
Here is the link. Don’t make too much fun of me, ok.
Enjoy. I am the very last surfer in the clip.

Dear Nelly:
I am so glad Susie sent me your E-mail address. I have wanted to write you since Lisa and Chris's Wedding and now I can. We had so much fun with your wonderful family and just don't want to lose touch with you. I have raved about your whole family to all my friends here in Dallas. You all seem to love and like each other so much and that is rare to find these days. I loved how you listen to each person and show how much you respect each one too. I really enjoyed getting to know you and Penny so much and hope we can meet again someday soon. I do get to San Diego and on my next trip there I will get my friend to drive up to L. A. and meet you for lunch (Penny Too)
You will like my friend Dolle Garner and she will love you all too. Of course we will have Lisa come too and Daphne is also a "Must Come Too."
My wish is for you and your whole family to have a wonderful Blessed Christmas and a terrific new Year. Give everybody my love and best wishes. I would love to have Penny's E-mail address and also Daphne's.
Hope to hear back from you soon.
With love,
Beth hair

Keely and John
Hey you all
Hope your all looking forward to christmas, we are. We only have 3 days left til we move, have been packing all our boxes up today and taking things down. It will be sad leaving, but we'll be moving on to a bigger
place for us, our first new home together.
Despite settling into our new home next year, we may
well be coming to the states to visit you all, perhaps San Diego and Las vegas, not sure yet. We saw Olivia and Max and U Mick and his family last weekend with
dad, which was lovely. John enjoyed meeting him.
Marco, hope things are okay with you. Hope you and Teri are doing well, it was lovely to see you both for our wedding, and also especially Vincent and Phrine.
(The other part of my life over in the US).
Love you
Keely & John x

Aloha Marco,
Here goes.........
I have managed to keep my business small and simple for the past 3 years while observing the market and I am excited to announce that it's time to "go big or get out".
Of course, I will be "going big".
My goal is to expand our video services to two more boats, and within the next 3 months I will be acquiring 2 more boats. Totaling 4 boats and 26 different charters.
I have been currently preparing to expand my business for the new season which technically starts on December 15. I have hired 3 videographers that will assist in the expansion and will continue my search for additional videographers for the future boats.
Although, 3 years ago, it was hard to find qualified and enthusiastic people to help me, nowadays everyone wants to be Jacques Cousteau.
We are currently experiencing "the calm before the storm". Tourists will be flooding the island within the next week.
The Humpback Whales have begun to arrive and will continue to fill our waters for the next couple of months and will stay until May. It's always an exciting time on Maui.
I am also working on my first TV Pilot which I hope to have ready in the next couple of months. More details to come.

I will also be creating educational products promoting "Ocean Awareness". Such products include:
1. Fish Identification CD-ROM (A first for Maui.)
2. Fish Identification DVD (A first ever made in video format.)

Future plans for additional projects include:
1. Dive Films
2. Dive TV (for local cable access channel on Maui.)
3. Skate TV (for local cable access channel on Maui.)

You can log onto Akaku.org and view television listings and new Video On Demand service for Maui Community Television. I have one show airing called "Aggressive & Territorial" which has brought PureDIGITAL Maui some well needed exposure & recognition.
I look forward to blowing it out of the water, so to speak.
And the last thing, I am volunteering some of my time to the Paia Youth & Cultural Center. Teaching kids how to make videos. It is a new program for the Center that will teach kids entrepreneurial& creative skills in the video industry. I am very excited to give back to the community and working with kids. And also looking forward to creating a so-called "legitimate sweatshop" where the kids will be creating the videos being sold to the tourism industry. I will gain much needed assistance and at the same time teaching kids the realities of making a living with video. I will be paying these kids for their work but not much because the Center does not want to be a bad influence at such a young age. That's OK with me. I will also be introducing all these local kids to the beautiful world beneath the surface.
Well, that's it. I know I have never given you anything before because I was just chillin Maui Style but now it's time to bust some ass. I will be tapping back into reality with a new workstation and TV just like the old days and wish to keep the whole family well informed to my progress so that you may keep me in your thoughts and send me all the positive gugu you can.
Lots of Love & Aloha atcha,
Aldo

Paola DePaso
Happy Holidays to everyone! I will miss spending Christmas with the Tassara's. I will be joining my new family The DePaso's in Las Vegas. Everyone please have an extra serving of papa a la huancaina and Tia Penny's infamous vegetable dish for me. We are not doing much this New Year's except pampering our little Nala who will be recovering from her ear cropping
surgery on the 30th. I wish you all a great Christmas and Happy New Year. You will all be in our thoughts especially when I'm at the tables in Vegas.
Much Love,
Chris, Paola, Chomper, and Nala
