Aloha Mi Familia,
Hope all is well on the mainland.
"Just wanted to send out a shout to all my home boys in the barrio,
sapo, joker, lit'l puppet....and to all my heinas...orale."
Oh well....I've finally moved into my new place. As you all know, the
last property I was living at was sold and I had to find another place.
It was hard to match what I had but have been successful in finding
another beautiful place in the country.
Just wanted to give an update.
Hopefully, you can visit soon.
Lots of Love & Aloha to all mi familia.
Tu vato loco....forever,
Aldo

Hi everyone,
Wow, I can't believe it's September already but I am happy to know
that this Summer heat will be gone soon. I love the Fall season when
the beaches empty and the waves get good. Also, Winter is approaching
and that means snow in the mountains. I hope!!!
Anyhow, Lisa has started
school again and is praying for a good group of first graders. The
last couple years she has had some pretty bad
classes.
We have slowly begun to decorate our house with some new furniture
and are really starting to settle in. Everything has been great except
for a skunk problem that we have in the area. It's funny how nobody
seems to mention that when your looking at the homes. The skunks have
sprayed our dog Kobe, once already. PEEEUUUUWWWW!!! They also tend
to spray close to the house in the middle of the night and the smell
lingers and sometimes enters the house through every little opening.
That means no open windows at night to get some fresh night air. It's
not that often but if it gets any worse I may have to go hunting.
He he he!!!
Well that is enough ranting and raving for this month. Congratulations
again to Mauricio and Angela. Talk to you all next month.
Aloha, (Love)
Chris

Hello everyone,
Its been a busy couple of weeks for Teri and I as we have
been taking
trips up to Santa Barbara (3 hours each way) to visit Teri's mother. We
have both taken on the task of remodeling parts of her house. It's a
cute house close to the beach but as most older homes cared by someone
older it lacks updating. Just last weekend we gutted the guest bathroom
down to the Frame and removed everything in it. Teri cut down two trees
and impressively dug out the root balls herself!
I have since replaced the dry wall and look forward to retuning this
Sunday to paint, prepare for the tile floors, and begin putting a new
sink
together with
cabinets in. It's a lot of work but very rewarding when you see how
excited her mother is getting.
Tomorrow we are heading up to my parents to take part in Paola's Wedding
shower, actually I have a golf reservation with my dad and Kurt at 1:00
pm. Then we'll head to SB for the night to work on Sunday.
Wednesday we all leave for England for two weeks. Thankfully we fly out
of San Diego so that we avoid going into LAX which only consumes more
time. Teri and I are looking forward to seeing everyone as well as
spending time in London and Belgium for a few days. I will do my best to
collect stories and photos for the newsletter.
See you all soon,
Marco

The cool night air
lightly moves in
carrying the dewey ocean mist
to claim its time
The passing of calm
to receive the rays
giving way to the light
to return to its source
Continous and certain
to bring another day
celebrate today
tomorrow is here.

I just want to thank Penny and make some comments about
the beautiful shower that she had for Paolita's yesterday Sat. Sept.
6, 2003. I think
everybody had fun, it was a little warm, but we manage to enjoy anyway,
and of course as always on the Tassara's table we had delicious food,
desserts and lots of drinks.
Paolita arrived from San Diego with her future mother-in-law, Ginny DePaso,
she was very nice to come all the way from Vegas and make Paola feel
very happy.
Thanks to all for the beautiful presents, I am sure my daughter and Chris
are very please and thankful for it. Thanks to all
the helpers, and Penny thanks again.
All my love.......
