Dear family and friends, it seems like yesterday when my son Chris was
asking for water or I need to go to the bathroom, as soon as we were
leaving our home at Blackhawk! He was only 5 years old. Since then many
things have happend and he has become a grown man ready to take the
vow's of marraige. We are very happy for him. To do this, he has choosen
a very special lady, Lisa, whom has enlighted my sons life as well as
the whole family. We are delighted to have her as a new member of the
family, I wish them all the happiness in the world. Finally, I have
the daughter we were supposed to have that instead was an ugly 10 pound
baby boy!. But after that, he gloomed into being a beautiful and strong
baby that gave us many enjoyable moments thru our lives. I thank God
for my two boys, we have enjoyed them pleanty and it has a been an interesting
road to walk. We are very proud of them each, looking for anwers that
only time can say. I can see my father overlooking from above, smiling,
and saying, "they are kids, let them learn by themselves. He will
be with us, as "Cashupin" (Chris) and Lisa take there vow's
at Maui.
GOD BLESS YOU BOTH !

Well, we made it through it all with hardly a scratch, except in our
pocket books. We had a great time in Hawaii and the wedding went beautifully.
It was great to have so many friends and family there to support us.
The pictures are coming in and the memories are starting to sink in
already.
It was great to spend so much time with you all on those gorgeous Hawaiian
beaches.
The L. A. reception was a blast with dancing and drinking continuing
well past midnight and a few after parties. Now it's time to get ready
for Paola's and Chris' wedding. I will be glad to be a spectator for
this one. I have a fresh memory of what they are going through right
now but it will go bye faster then you know so try and be calm with
all the stress and enjoy it a bit.
Until next month,
Chris

The trip to Maui for Chris & Lisa's' wedding was great. Leandro
was great on
the plane flights. And he loved the water. He had a great time playing
with his uncle Aldo & Uncle Dino. I am sure they enjoyed him as
well. Not to mention the rest of the family. The wedding was amazing,
a truly beautiful place for my cousin and his bride to tie the knot.
When it was all over and they were off to their honeymoon in Kauai,
the family settled into just having fun. We went on a sunset boat cruise,
trips to nice beaches, and of course sampled the local cuisine. "OKAZUYA"
I will never forget the lemon capered Ono at that place. Felt good to
walk in and order, and the lady say to me, "you are Dino and Aldo's
brother right?" I guess the saw the
resemblance between Aldo & I. Maui is an amazingly beautiful place,
and I think it was the perfect environment for our family to spend time
at. Lots of memories. Just one big memory for me was taking my son Leandro
out on a surfboard. I can't wait to show him when he is older. He loved
it. Marco and I were amazed at how comfortable he was on the surfboard.
I guess it runs in the family. Besides that, the weather has been amazing
here in California and King Neptune has been sending lots of surf our
way, so it has been great. I am sure Marco & Chris have been enjoying
the waves as well.
Congratulations again to the bride and groom.
Marco keep up the good work, the web site just keeps growing all the
time.

Vincent turned 8 years old on 7-27-03. He had a wonderful birthday at
the local bowling alley with all his friends, hot dogs, hamburgers, and
a big cake. He received lots of presents including some cloths that did
not impress him.
Then a few days later it was Angelina's 6th birthday and of course she
wanted her birthday at the bowling alley as well. She invited friends
from school and had a great time. The party was continued at the house
when we called to wish her a happy birthday, but she said directly "she
had to go because her friends were there". But did thank us for the
bike. She is such a big girl now and needed a bigger bike. When she would
pedal the old smaller bike her legs moved like a hurricane.
Phrine and Vincent are looking forward to there trip to England. We have
booked their tickets already and they will be leaving 9-10-03 arriving
9-11-03 in London staying for 2 weeks.
We had a great time in Hawaii. It was nice to be there with both our children,
and that they wanted to be with us, because when they were teenagers they
wanted nothing to do with us. I guess everything changes eventually.
On 9-6-03 we will be hosting the wedding shower for Paola at our house
and we will be kicking of the celebrations for the last wedding of this
year here in the U.S..
we are looking forward to the party and meeting Ginny Chris' Mom, who
is coming all the way from Henderson Nevada.
That will be a busy week as we leave for London on Wednesday of that week-
plus we have a party with all our old friends on Sunday 9-7-03.
Well that's it for now love Penny

Sorry for my delay in responding for the newsletter, but I still on MAUI
time ( just kidding ).
Well dear family after enjoy our wonderful time in MAUI, HI., the whole
clan together, what else could we ask for. We were all reunited for Chris
& Lisa's wedding, and also with our children. Like Dino said ,"
IT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE ". I have to thank God for giving us the
chance to do it, and not only once this year, but twice since we will
all be together again for my Paolita & Chris wedding in just a couple
months -Oct. 11, 2003.
To get ready for this big event, Robert-Dafne, Lucho, and I are going
to take few days off to relax, down to the South to Baja California, with
two obligate stops at Pechanga Casino in Temecula & Barona Casino
near San Diego. Maybeeeeee we will call Marquito & Paolita, to drop
by to say hello.
Also, I would like to mention that my sister Olinda left lots of thanks
and love to all of you. She really have a good time with us in Maui. She
will not be able to be here for Paolita's & Chris wedding, because
my brother Adan's son is getting married the same date of my daughter.
She was going to stay a little bit longer, but for reason of illness in
our family she changed her plans.
Dears......... see you online when we come back from Mexican territories
and after we drink few TEQUILAS in your names.... love you all....Tia
