Summer is almost here,
I love the summer so much. Nice warm weather to spend lazy days on the
beach. This summer is gonna be fun. As we all know Chris Lobos is getting
married in Maui. wow that's gonna be a good trip. I just got our tickets
and we will be there for a week. Can't wait to take him out for his
last surf session as a single man. what a great place to get married.
I am really happy we will be able to make it. What a family reunion
that's gonna be. That many Tassara's on one island, i wonder if the
hawaiians will be able to handle us. And more importantly, will they
accept us back next time we go.
As far as our family goes, Leandro is getting bigger everyday and more
and more active. The other day he climbed up on the dining room table
and was screaming for us to see. He is so smart, he remembers things
we say and repeat the actions back to us. I bet he is getting a little
confused with mom speaking Portuguese, Dad in english, Grandma Nelly
and Grandpa Lucho speaking spanish to him. Poor kid is gonna be lost,
but later he will be tri-lingual. Truly an incredible sight to see him
grow up. Before we know it, he will be asking for money and keys to
the car. boy, i am gonna be in trouble. I better save up now.
We also have my sister Paola's wedding in october. Can't wait for that
one either. I wonder if san diego will ever be the same after that reception.
I am very happy for her and chris, as they got their house and are living
in it now. Time to pay the mortgage, hahahahaha
Well I guess that's gonna be it for now.
Aloha.

I am looking forward to going to Hawaii to be part of Chris and Lisa's
wedding. Wedding are a wonderful celebration of life. I look forward
to seeing my cousins Aldo and Dino, I miss them. Taryn is now living
with us in Ohio. She has started school and is doing very well. The
school tested her reading skills and reported that she is at college
level. This makes us proud and not so worried at the same time. Since
it has been a long time since I've seen school I wouldn't want to tutor
her.
I am also looking forward to attending the wedding of my cousin Keely
Melson in England on September 11 2003. I look forward to seeing the
other half of my family which unveils the other half of who I am.
Love lots

Chris and I are new homeowners! We are both really excited and can't
wait to get the pool cleaned up so the pool/barbecue parties can begin.
Another exciting development, we have set a wedding date!
Love you all,
Paola and Chris

Hi all,
Its nice to hear so many people are getting hitched this year! a pretty
hectic time for all of us. Well only 5 months to go now til September,
am looking forward to seeing my family from the states. I hope Phrine
got my letter, I sent it about a week ago so it may not have got there
yet. Have a great time in Maui, that's where John and I wanted to go
but couldn't afford to go there and somewhere else so we're saving it
for another time.
See ya soon love Keely & John

Hola Marco,
I appreciate what you have accomplished with this newsletter and hope
you don't become discouraged when you don't get much of a response from
members of the family. It is a very cool site which I use daily and wish
to see it evolve in a positive way. I just wanted to say thanks and to
keep up the good work.
As for myself, I am super busy preparing my wedding with Lisa and starting
my new National
Remote Controls business. I have rented out a shop in Chatsworth and
hope to make it expand into a thriving business some day. Wish me luck.
I have also been searching to buy a new house somewhere in this metropolis
of Los Angeles. It is not an easy task but with the help of Penny
Tassara as my agent things have been made quite a bit easier. Thank
You. Hope everybody is doing well and make sure to keep us all updated
with what is going on in your lives. Including the juicy details. Ha Ha
Ha. Bye for now.

Long time no speak. Just caught up
on all the news. Pleased to hear about the 2 weddings - Chris & Lisa
and Paola & Chris - Congratulations. Wish we could join you.
Tom has recovered well from his surgery and is now back at work. Such
a relief. Easter approaches and John's parents and his sister and brother-in-law
will be visiting Chelmsford. It will be good to see them again. I like
the fact that we have an expanding family - not as large as the Tassara
clan, of course, but we're working on it. Spring has sprung and the flowers
are blooming - aah.. We are busy with our wedding preparations too. It
may not be Hawaii but to us it will still be "Heaven". We're
thrilled that Phrine and Vinnie are coming over to celebrate with us too.
Oh well, must close - it's getting late and time for bed. Love and kisses
to all especially the children - Vincent, Angelina and Leandro.

This is me snaking Mauricio on a wave. I told him this left was for goofy
footers only and all Hermosa kooks should go home.

Hello everyone. My mother and
I just got back from visiting the Shortino Family in Ohio. We had a great
time and accomplished a few things. Instead of sitting around while on
vacation passing time during these winter like days we all worked outside
helping to prepare the soil for spring and even planted some bushes between
storms. We dug out the dirt foundation, laid the bottom rock, and poured
a new long awaited concrete patio outside the kitchen. It was great working
outside with everyone and watching Angelina haul the wheel barrel full
of dirt out to the forest.
We began the installation of a new privacy fence as well, which entailed
digging the post holes and setting them in concrete. unfortunately, we
had to come home before that was finished. But since they now have a new
Digital Camcorder and a new PC they will hopefully send some pictures
of the finished fence..hint hint!
