HAPPY NEW YEAR 2003

Guess who's
Engaged
Christian and Lisa- pic of ring to come.
Aloha everybody,
I just wanted to pass the word on to some of the family so they can
know what is going on regarding our wedding. The date has been scheduled
for July 11th on the island of Maui. We have a beautiful
plantation style home right on the water reserved so that we can soak
in the hawaiian sunset while we celebrate. This is about 10 minutes
from Lahaina on the west side of Maui.
Now, I realize the problems that this remote location causes for you
all and i don't want anybody to feel forced to attend. Everybody's situation
for this summer is different and I completely understand not being able
to make it out there. But, if you are planning on attending I wanted
to get the word out so that you can make your plans and reservations
now.
We have found some good package deals on expedia.com for a long weekend
thursday-sunday so that people would only have to miss a couple of days
of work. If you can make it a longer vacation great. We would love to
have you all there.
talk to you soon,
Chris

Hi everybody,
We had a wonderful visit with our grandchildren over the christmas holidays.
Friday after christmas Tito and I took Angelina and Vincent to the Queen
Mary. We had a great day and the weather was great! Vincent was not
to keen on the ghost tour though. I took the children by train to visit
Teri and Marco in Del Mar. The kids loved the train, Marco and I took
the kids to Legoland
one day went on lots of rides angelina has no fear on the roller coaster,
she puts her arms up and will not let you hold on to her. They had a
great time swimming in Marcos pool. They swam for all 3 days we were
there. Both of them swim very well. It was great having the family together
for the Christmas holidays, they got lots of presents and were really
spoiled. We went to Nelly's Christmas
Eve, had a marvelous dinner with lots to eat. For the first time
ever we were able to link up with Aldo & Dino by video cam over
the internet all night so they ate dinner in Hawaii at the same time
as us. We were also able to share in opening the gifts, talk with the
children, and listen to Angelina entertain us with her singing, we had
to pay her for each song , she made out like a bandit. Christmas
morning we opened more gifts had a big family breakfast. Later in
the day the family came over for dinner and to relax, altogether a very
nice holiday time. Hope everyone out there had a great holiday. We spent
New Years Eve at home with the children while Phrine went to see friends.
Teri & Marco arrived at 11.30 for champagne. They were returning
from Northern California after spending some time with Teri's family
and then going skiing & snow boarding for 4 days. They quickly returned
to Del Mar on the 1st.
Will see you all soon,
Penny & Tito

As you might of heard my mother and I went to England for two weeks in
Dec. Our trip was wonderful despite both of us getting sick. We arrived
in Hethrow Airport and Uncle Tom was there to pick us up and take us back
to their house. We stayed with them a few days and then took the train
into London. There we did some shopping, site seeing, and watched a few
plays. One of which was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Even though the name
of that play seems asynchronous with being in England it was an excellent
show and I am sure it will debut in New York soon.
During the last day in London Julia came up and traveled around with us.
Together we visited the British Museum, The Globe Theatre, and Oxford
Street a few times as we got on the wrong bus a few times.
After London we spent a few days at Juilias and then finished the trip
back at Tom and Rita's house.
As with any trip there were people and things you wish you would have
seen (Uncle Robin, Sophie, soccer games) as well as many new discoveries
that your sure to return to (South Suffolk, Pie and Mash, Bangers and
double mash, Grahams new bar room out back).
Thank you:
-Uncle Tom for letting me borrow the car and introducing me to spin class.
-Auntie Rita for all the hospitality and food!
- (over a few pints) Thomas for breaking down the realities of why Cricket
is disappearing as a sport due to the fact its BORING.
-Keely and John. Congratulations, I liked John since the first
night I met him. I can't wait to celebrate your wedding!
-Julia I told your story about the psychic explaining Grandmas death to
everyone!!! I miss you a lot.
-Graham 5.1 Bose surround sound!!
your a maniac for working outside like that. It was great meeting you.
Come Visit!
-Gregory I wish I had a thousand more days and nights to spend with you.
Keep up your studies and we'll hang out more when I return. Soccer Stud!!!!!
-Olivia and Max You were like a live version of MTV Real World! Congratulations
on the house and when I'm there later this year lets Paaaaaaarrrrrrttyyyyyyy.
Many Pictures of England to come !
